This broccoli salad is a delicious addition to a variety of meals. It is a great pot luck contribution or a simple dish to serve with a sandwich on a Saturday afternoon. In our house, leftover broccoli salad does not last long. There have been several occasions when it sounded good to me, I opened the fridge, and it was gone! You will not regret making this dish.
Broccoli Salad
Ingredients
- 1 cup real mayonnaise
- 2 T white vinegar
- 2 T dijon mustard
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1/2 t salt
- 5 cups broccoli florets cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup red onion chopped
- 1 cup Colby Jack cheese cubed
- 1 cup bacon crumbles
- 1 cup sunflower kernels
- 1 cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Prepare the dressing by whisking mayo, vinegar, salt, and pepper together.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
- Taste and add more salt and pepper to taste, if desired.
- Refrigerate until serving.
